global.

I've recently beaten the main plot for Pokemon Black. Now, half of the region is unlocked, as well as all the new Pokemon running around from the previous 4 generations. All the trainers have beefed up to level 60, and the Elite Four is the hardest it's ever been. You can meet with past Champions and game producers, and discover lost legends. There's still a lot to do. However, one particular feature of the game has caught my attention.

The Global Trade Station Negotiations and the Unity Tower.

First off, the Global Trade Station Negotiations is a real-time trading feature where the game pairs you up with a random player from around the world, you the two of you agree on what Pokemon you would like to exchange. Communication is limited. There are 4 little emoticons you can choose to show during the trade to show your like or dislike of the terms of the trade, so it's much easier to tell when both of you are ready. I've obtained several rare Pokemon through this feature. The cool thing, though, is that if the trainer has registered where they live on the world map, the game will remember them and mark them on a 3D globe as well as give them their own international floorinside of Unity Tower.

For each region you trade with, a colored point will show up on the globe.

Unity Tower is a 131-story building that can only be accessed when you trade with someone outside of your own country.

Each floor represents a country, and I gotta say, this is a very exciting feature for me. It's kind of a new collecting game: Obtain every country's floor. And what's more, an avatar of the person you traded with will live on that floor, and they'll talk to you about the trade you made with them, when it happened, and their likes and dislikes (if they filled out a certain survey within the game). For example, a girl might say "Thank you for the Snivy! My new Gothita is very happy! My hobby? I like Music. Suites me, doesn't it? Have you ever seen Hyogo? It's a nice place!"

Here's a list of the trainers I have registered so far.
