treat.

So...this weekend was an extremely long one. For me, anyway. But let me show you the highlight of it:

snapshot.

Hello again. Right now I'm sitting on another leather chair in a dimly lit room, only this time it is a couch and I am about to watch the recently released film Robin Hood.

Also, I am, again, running into this blog head-on with nothing particular to say.

First, a sad tale in my life...

giggles.

So Micah and I were having fun the other night on TubeDubber, a website where you choose a video, and then replace the sound with the sound from a different video. I'm sure I'll come up with strange mixtures in the future, but for now, enjoy the ones that Micah and I came up with so far:

obsess.

Ok, before we jump into this, let me first give you a zing of the energy I have right now.

We all know and love the show Mythbusters. In this video, Adam Savage talks about his obsession. Watch the whole thing.

scatter.

I sit here in a dark room in a large leather sofa underneath a table lamp. A pretty good setting for some thoughts.

What to think, though...?

Ok, I have one.

There are two kinds of friends. One kind are those that when you get back together from being apart for a long time, it's a little awkward. And the other kind of friend is the kind that no matter how long or how far apart you are, being together is as natural as if you had only seen each other yesterday. I'm trying to make encounters with the first kind of friend less awkward, but I'm not exactly sure how. Or is that a universal problem that can nearly never be avoided? I'm not too worried about the second type of friendship, of course. Those are the friendships I will always cherish the most.

distant.

This post is dedicated to movies. Particularly, movies by a director that started incredibly small, but that I know will one day be gigantic.

I have a separate taste of movies. Sure, my inner guy always loves to go see something with epic explosions, nail-biting mysteries, "that one really dirty but extremely hilarious" movie, or the occasional fantasy orgy of visual effects. There will always be, however, one genre that will stay dear to my heart. And that is the concept of young love.

frozen.

This will be a life update, I guess. I figured I should update my blog more, but there are so many features I'm missing out on, like video embedding and photo-posting. iPad issues. Don't ask.

So my season at Trellis Cafe ended. I am currently jobless. I have applied to Costco, Robert's and Maceys so far. A guy in my ward emailed me an application for a business that is actively looking for future missionaries to help out, so that one sounds very promising. The business produces silicon electronics covers. You know the kind.

dungeons.

I haven't been playing RPGs for a long time. I think my first one was Final Fantasy X, which I played 3 years ago. Back then, I would have never thought I would be sucked into what I'm doing now.
